Tasting Notes

The 2023 Viognier is true to the vintage with vibrant acidity and a delicate straw color with flecks of shimmering lemon yellow. On the nose, fragrant notes of honeysuckle, elderflower, and hints of wet stone minerality sit alongside notes of green apple, fresh cut hay, candied white peach and lime zest. Like a wildflower bouquet from a pastoral field, this Viognier is bright, fresh, and lively. The mouthfeel is clean and linear with a backbone of crisp mouthwatering acidity. Showcasing a light to medium body, the palate is delicate and soft with notes of white peach, Granny Smith apple and tangy lime supported by subtle Marcona almond notes, and a white pepper spiced finish that is long and pleasing.
