Shipping FAQ
We aim to ship all orders within 5 - 7 business days. However, due to the high demand during the Friends & Family sale, where wine is shipping to, if you are using Temperature Control, or some wines may sell out and require replenishment. Because of this, we are unable to guarantee exact shipping timelines. We appreciate your patience and will send tracking information as soon as your order ships.
If you experience any difficulty during the checkout process, be sure to:
- Ensure your shipping address conforms to the alcohol shipping laws with which we must comply
- Verify your billing address information matches what your credit card has on file

All wines must be received by an adult who is 21 years of age or older. If no one is available at your home address to receive your shipments, please ship your order to your office or another location where someone will be present. If, after three delivery attempts, your wine is returned to us, you can request that your order be shipped to a different address. Additional shipping fees will be charged to your credit card.
An adult 21+ signature is required for delivery. Carriers typically make up to three delivery attempts before returning the package.
To help avoid delays or return shipping fees, we recommend monitoring tracking updates closely and considering shipment to a FedEx/UPS pickup location if you may not be available to receive your order.
Unfortunately, no. USPS does not allow alcohol to be shipped or received, and will not receive a package from another carrier, like UPS or FedEx, to your P.O. Box.
Yes. Shipping to a FedEx or UPS pickup location can be a great option if you may not be home to sign for your package. This can help avoid missed deliveries and protect your wine from extended time in transit.
YES, we always recommend shipping to a business address as there is typically someone there to receive packages. In addition, orders to business addresses tend to be delivered earlier in the day.
If a package is returned after multiple unsuccessful delivery attempts, return shipping charges may apply before the order can be reshipped.
Eliminate heat stress - for you and your wine! Choose Temperature Control Shipping at check out and ensure your wine arrives in perfect condition. To ensure the quality of your wine upon arrival, we strongly recommend selecting temperature controlled shipping, especially during warmer or colder months. If you choose to decline this option, please note that we cannot be held responsible for any damage caused by extreme temperatures during transit.
Fast facts about temperature controlled shipping:
- Orders placed online before 12pm PST on Tuesdays will be picked up by a temperature controlled truck that Friday. After the cutoff, your order will be held to ship the following Friday.
- You will receive an email with your tracking number once the label has been created.
- Your wine will travel in luxury to the nearest Hub city with temperature controlled precision.
- When it arrives at the Hub city, your tracking information will be scanned by the carrier and updated in their system. At this point, you can use your tracking number to follow your package.
- From your local hub it will be delivered by your preferred carrier via ground services, usually within a day or two after it arrives at the hub. Most shipments arrive on the Wednesday or Thursday following the Friday shipment.
- Temperature Control Shipping is available to all states we can normally ship to EXCEPT for AK, AZ, CA, HI, ID, KS, MT, ND, NE, NM, NV, OR, and WA.
Wine is sensitive to extreme temperatures, especially during warmer months. Temperature-Controlled Shipping helps protect wine quality while in transit and is recommended during periods of elevated heat.
You will receive an order confirmation email for any completed order and inventory will be reserved immediately. In some cases, your order may be above the quantity limits set by your ship-to state and our Customer Service team will assist you to get as much as legally possible to you. You will only be charged for wines that are shipped.
No, orders ship only as complete orders (not partial orders). If you would like one order shipped to multiple addresses, the order will need to be broken into multiple orders to satisfy multiple delivery addresses.
Due to limited space, we cannot hold wines nor allow for future ship dates.
Yes, although most of our customers prefer to purchase by the case, you can also make smaller purchases. Please remember that it is usually more cost-effective to purchase in case quantities.
Yes! We can ship to Alaska and Hawaii. Please choose from the relevant shipping options at checkout.
At this time, we ship only to United States addresses.
No, we cannot specify delivery times. You will receive a shipment confirmation email when your wines are shipped which will include tracking information.
Our fulfillment team will do their best to ship your full order together. However, due to high order volume, this cannot be guaranteed. Additionally, once shipped, we cannot guarantee that the delivery carrier will deliver multiple cases at the same time. Also, orders cannot be combined if placed separately.
Due to the nature of wine and alcohol shipping regulations, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for change-of-mind purchases.
If your order is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us as soon as possible.
Replacement requests may be approved for:
- Carrier-related loss or damage
- Leaking bottles
- Corked wine
- Heat damage
- Severely damaged labels or packaging
Photos may be required to help process replacement requests.
