The Reserve Cabernet Franc is sourced from a combination of vineyards around our home winery as well as warmer vineyards in Napa Valley. We specifically selected premier vineyard blocks situated on well-drained soils, in sun-kissed, warm microclimates, bringing out the most superior quality in the historic varietal. On the nose, aromas of blackberry and savory bay leaf are present alongside toasty almond and coffee bean notes from the oak barrel integration, leading to flavors of black cherry, anise, and mocha, followed by a firm structure, and finishing with velvety refined tannins and traces of "Rutherford dust".
